Justice Resource Institute is Hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Near Taunton, MA

Who We Are Looking For:

Are you the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with youth that we serve!

Cohannet Academy, located at Taunton State Hospital, is a Joint Commission-Accredited Intensive Residential Treatment Program (IRTP) specializing in trauma-informed care. Cohannet Academy is contracted with the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (MA DMH), to provide in-house services and treatment to adolescent biological females, ages 13 to 18. Many of the youth have histories of complex trauma and unstable home lives, prior hospitalizations, and unsuccessful interventions in less-intensive settings. Cohannet Academy provides a safe and energizing therapeutic environment from which the youth can learn and grow. Cohannet works with each youth and their family to establish a trajectory of hope and accomplishment.

What You'll Do:

We are seeking a part time BCBA to provide comprehensive support for a variety of skills including communication, social, schooling and daily living. Primarily this is achieved through programming tailored to individual client needs. This should be conducted with the initial Functional Behavioral Asessment, then developing treatment plans and behavior support plans. The BCBA will provide training, support and guidance to program staff and families to best support the individual and follow through with plans.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years or older.
  • Master’s Degree.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Afternoon into early evening availability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organization skills.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
